Ruben binam and the Kemit 7
In 2011, the Cameroonian pianist, composer and arranger Ruben Binam founded his orchestra the KEMIT7.
Ruben Binam and the KEMIT7, is one of the most « avant-garde » proposal of the modern era of African music, bearded by a band of dynamic and very talented singers and musicians.
Through « KEMIT7 », Ruben Binam works out to produce a refined music, leading music lovers through the nostalgia of songs that made the pride and the fame of Africa, the Indian Ocean and the Caribbean Islands of the past.
Moreover, we are proposing two concepts to be discovered: the « Nu Afro Soul » and the « Panafrican groove » through which « Ruben Binam and the KEMIT7 » strive to bridge the music of the African continent in its large diversity, with the musical influences of the universe.
